The Bearcat was the original newspaper
for Paso Robles High School. The program
dates back as far as 1932 with a copy from
1932 that can be found in the Paso Robles
History museum downtown.
2ND
In 1988, the school paper rebranded
as the Bearcat News. In 1990, Natalee Johnson became the newspaper’s adviser.
3RD
Seven years later in 1995, the Bearcat
News once again rebranded, becoming
the Crimson Chronicle. In 2000,
Johnson stepped down as an adviser as
Jeffrey Mount filled in the position.
4TH
On Jun 8, 2010, the Crimson Chronicle released their
special addition, Super Senior. In this same issue,
they announced that in the following October, they
would be publishing under their new name, Crimson
Newsmagazine. Mount would continue to lead the charge
until 2025. The current adviser is Aiden Evans.
