One Year of coACTION From Idea to Pilot Project
Current Status & Next Steps
A productive year lies behind us. We look back on twelve eventful months during which the foundation for more democracy in primary schools was laid. What we achieved in 2025: Product Development: All necessary materials and tools for implementation in the schools have been completed. These include, in particular, the coACTION Sensor, the detailed Guide for project execution, and our comprehensive coACTION Treasury. Pilot Project: We are very pleased to have found dedicated schools in all countries that started this interesting phase with us in September.
Project partners
In recent weeks, we have completed the first steps in the pilot schools: The coACTION Sensor, our evaluation tool for the entire school community, has been applied. These initial surveys serve to determine the current status of democratic participation within the schools. The next step is the joint definition of specific goals in order to select and test suitable measures for increasing lived democracy in the schools.
