IIn Reunion, we celebrate christmas in summer. We celebrate it with our familiy or sometimes go to the restaurant. We eat samoussas, bonbos piments, toast with foie gras, salads, carry, rougail then for dessert, litchi, mangoes, pâté créole and after that we dance. Then at midnight we count down and light fireworks then we kiss eachother on the cheeks and we open the gifts! (Maillot Benjamin, Maillot Marine et Payet Melody)

CHRISTMAS IN REUNION ISLAND In Reunion Island we celebrate Christmas in Flip Flops because it’s summer here, the temperatures are hot (around 30°C). There are endemic trees called flamboyants and they turn red during summer, we also eat litchis, which is probably the best fruit on the Island. We also eat lobster, carry, rice, fatty times, and pineapple surprise. ( Manon, Zoé, Alexis from Reunion Island)
