Happy Holidays Old Colony Community,
Winter is on its merry way and we are into our second trimester. Winter has always been a time of introspection and self reflection for me. I appreciate the quiet days and long nights of winter whether enjoying the beautifully invigorating outdoors or enjoying time with family and friends in the warmth of homes. According to the poet Edith Sitwell; “Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” As we approach the Holiday Break I hope that you all enjoy your time with family & friends and form cherished memories that comfort and sustain. We recognize this is a wonderful time of year for many, but also a difficult time for others. Please reach out to the support staff here at Old Colony if we can assist families in any way.
