I250 g cottage cheese, drained of whey,1 level teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon (I didn't add this), 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 packet vanilla sugar, 2 eggs, flour, approx. 230-250 g, grated lemon zest, if desired; oil for frying (we fry the doughnuts in plenty of oil), flour for the work surface, blueberry jam, or whatever else you like, sour cream.
Put the cheese in a bowl, add the salt, vanilla sugar, baking powder (cinnamon, grated lemon zest), mash the cheese with a fork, mix well, then add the two eggs and mix until smooth. Start adding flour, as much as needed, to obtain a dough that is neither too hard nor sticky. Sprinkle flour on the countertop to prevent the dough from sticking. Divide the dough into about 5 larger pieces and 5 smaller pieces; shape the small pieces into balls, round the large pieces, flatten them, and use your finger to make a hole in the middle, which will widen slightly (so that the doughnuts fry well). Heat the oil in a pan (I used a cauldron, but you can use a thick-bottomed saucepan); the oil should be at least 5 cm deep. Check when the oil is hot (test with a small piece of dough - hot oil will bubble around it, the dough will float...) reduce the heat, start frying the dumplings, one by one, until they are nicely browned. Remove the doughnuts onto paper towels. When serving, garnish with jam and sour cream. They are very good when warm.
- Between 2 and 4 players can play.
- Each player must choose a piece and roll the dice (just click on the digital dice and wait for it to stop). The player who rolls the highest number starts the game.
- To play, each participant must roll the dice and move their piece to the corresponding square.
- Some of the squares on the board have a special meaning. SURPRISE SQUARE
- If the player lands on a SURPRISE square, they earn the right to advance to the next SURPRISE square and, in addition, they can roll the dice again. HE picks the card with that number, read it out loud, and keep it as a trophy.
- If they land on an X2 or X3 square, they must multiply the number rolled on the dice by the corresponding number and advance that number of squares.
- If they land on the DANGER square, the player will not be able to roll the dice again until another player passes that square.
- The first player to reach the finish line wins. He wins the reciepe of COZONAC.
- IMPORTANT! These instructions are guidelines. Feel free to modify the game as you wish and assign "prizes" or "penalties" to different squares, depending on your preferences.
