Nous sommes en 1973, à New York. Le Bronx connaît des temps difficiles, mais dans les rues, une nouvelle culture est en train de naître. Ce soir, une block party se prépare au 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, la où tout à commencé. Pour y participer, tu vas devoir parcourir ce quartier mythique et rencontrer les quatre esprits du hip-hop : le DJ, le MC, le B-boy, et le Graffeur.

Le breakdance, c’est une conversation entre ton corps et la musique, une façon unique d’exprimer ton identité. Tu commences par le Six Step, cette base au sol qui te permet de sentir le rythme et d’apprendre à bouger ton corps avec fluidité. Ensuite viennent les Power Moves, ces figures spectaculaires qui défient la gravité et montrent ta force et ton contrôle. Les Freezes, enfin, sont des arrêts précis qui ponctuent ton style et marquent les moments clés de la musique. Chaque mouvement raconte qui tu es. Tu ne copies pas les autres, tu affirmes ton style. En battle, tu ne combats pas ton adversaire, tu montres ta personnalité face à lui, porté par le rythme. Le respect est là, mais c’est ton identité, ton groove et ton énergie qui restent gravés dans les esprits quand tu entres dans le cercle.
Dans le terrain de jeu, les B-boys tournent sur la tête, glissent au sol, figent le temps en freeze.
