Contexte historique
Le conflit dure depuis 1948, année où beaucoup de Palestiniens ont été forcés de quitter leurs maisons lors de la création d’Israël, un événement appelé Nakba.
En 1967, Israël prend le contrôle de Gaza et de la Cisjordanie, ce qui limite fortement la liberté des Palestiniens et leur accès aux ressources.
Depuis 2007, Gaza vit sous un blocus qui provoque pauvreté, manque de soins, d’électricité et de mobilité.
Avant 2023, les Palestiniens subissaient déjà une situation humanitaire très difficile, marquée par plusieurs guerres, destructions et déplacements.
