Citation Help
We know creating citations can be frustrating. Even though students know that they need to cite, the rules to citation formatting are often complex. Citation generators can be a useful tool in starting citations but we've seen students getting docked points when they rely exclusively on them. The library recommends comparing generated citations against a sample citation and using it as a template or skipping the generator completely in favor of recreating citations based on a template. You can find more information about citing, and websites with numerous citation examples on the library's Writing Guide. Select the citation format below to learn more about each one. A guide for MLA will be coming in the new year.
