Our mascots connected to water

F.L.O.W.

eTwinning 2025/2026 Designed by Helen Gyrelli and Andrea Szana and the partners of project F.L.O.W.

this is what you need to do

1. Make a mascot representing our project.

2. Use recycled materials and your imagination.

8. Find your pair's mascot (not far from yours).

3. Take a photo of your mascot.

4. Animate your image in an app (any image to video will do it).

9. Describe your pair's mascot with your pupils.

5. Upload your video on YouTube.

10. Check out the examples on pp. 4-5

6. Find your slide with your name in this presentation and upload the video there (insert).

11. Wait for everyone to finish the task.

12. Enjoy the final presentation with your pupils. You need to use the presentation mode for this (top right).

7. Write your full name and your school's name as it is in the example (pp. 4-5).

summary

In this presentation, we are going to collect the animated images of the mascots made from reused materials and also their descriptions created by the partners of the project. Collaboration takes place on two levels: one slide is designed by two partners and each partner contributes to the whole presentation.

This picture shows two cute lovely pillows shaped like waterdrops. They are made of blue and grey fabric and have two happy faces on them. The eyes are big and white with blue parts. They also have two red smiles. Thank you, Hungarian friends!!!!!!!!

Jellyfish These are some beautiful jellyfish. They look very cute. They are blue and white. Their bodies are made from paper, cardboard and plastic cups. They have got plastic eyes. Maybe their arms are made from some fabric. All of them are made from reused materials. We love them!

In this wonderful video, our partners used colourful papers and a eye from button to create a seahorse. It seems like students clorored the papers with watercolor. It is swimming in the deep of the ocean and looking for its food. Its tail is long and has some scales on its back.We liked this wonderful seahorse and enjoyed watching. We can see two colorful starfish made of colorful papers which are carefully folded and transformed into a starfish .The Starfish are among real sea stones and sea shells .They dive into the sea in to the deepest water to meet other sea creatures that our partners created.

In this video we can see a colorful coral reef. The corals are green, pink, yellow, dark blue and light blue. The coral reef is made out of plastic cups, plastic straws and cardboard. The coral reef is very beautiful and our fish would be very happy there!!!

A funny snowflake creature made from a plastic bottle and blue and white craft pieces. It has big eyes and little arms that look like popsicle sticks, and it seems like it is smiling at us. Around it, there are many small snowflakes falling. We feel happy when we look at it because it is cute and creative!

It's a fish with different shades of blue. It's made of paper or cardboard. The eyes are drawn with a black marker. Its fins are covered with blue plastic bags and the scales are made of bottle caps. There are ten light blue caps and eight dark blue ones. The fish swims merrely in the sea and gives us joy.
