Technology Frameworks / Models
Richland One's Technology Plan states that certified staff must “demonstrate technology competency and proficiency aligned to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards.”
Richland One's strategic plan also includes the statement that says: “Provide and maintain high‑quality facilities, technology, and resources to support efficiencies and innovation.”

Technology Review
In Richland One's 2024‑2029 Strategic Plan there are several core priorities; notably Priority #5: “Provide and maintain high‑quality facilities, technology, and resources to support efficiencies and innovation..
The Learning Environments & Instructional Resources department of RSD1 states that one of its roles is “assisting and advising school administrators and teachers in the redesign of stimulating learning spaces … to better utilize technology and promote collaboration” and “supporting the development, implementation and management of Richland One’s Virtual Program for grades K‑12.”.
How is the technology budget amount determined each year? Is it a fixed % of the general fund, driven by device-refresh cycle needs, or derived from voter levy amounts? Richland One uses levies as one of their funding sources for technology and capital projects! The budget from the general fund is determinded by enrollment of the pervious year and the Strategic Plan.
What monitoring/metrics are used to evaluate whether technology spending is having the intended impact on student achievement? Richland One has an “Accountability, Assessment, Research & Evaluation” department that is responsible for monitoring student data, instructional program effectiveness, and other outcome measures. Richland One Through the district’s teacher resources and curriculum supports, RSD1 provides digital tools and online resources for teachers and students, which implies tracking usage and access.
If you want to provide additional information or develop the content in more detail, you can do so through your oral presentation. We recommend that you practice your voice and rehearse: Remember: the best improvisation is always the most prepared!
What you read: interactivity and animation can turn the most boring content into something fun. At Genially, we also create our designs to facilitate understanding and learning, so you can level up with interactivity and turn your content into something that adds value and engages.
When giving a presentation, two goals must be pursued: Convey informationand prevent yawning. To achieve this, it can be helpful to create an outline and use words and concepts that aid in content absorption.
