Nesta apresentação vamos explorar o funcionamento e a importância dos servidores web, elementos essenciais da Internet moderna.
O que é um servidor web
Como funciona um servidor web
Os servidores web seguem um modelo client server. Quando um utilizador web deseja carregar o conteúdo de um site, o seu navegador solicita o acesso através da internet. Isto é conhecido como um pedido HTTP. O navegador procura o endereço IP do site solicitado, traduzindo o URL das páginas web através do Sistema de Nomes de Domínio (DNS) ou verificando a sua cache.
O servidor web recebe o pedido HTTP e processa-o através do seu servidor HTTP.
Depois disso, o servidor web devolve os ficheiros do site para o navegador que enviou o pedido, e então o utilizador consegue ver o conteúdo do site.
