Itroduction

Kioto: the old capital of Japan

This city was the capital of Japan from 794 to 1868. It has som tourist attractions like the Sanctuary Fushimi Inari, Arashima Bamboo forest, the Golden Pavilion and Guion Distric.

Sanctuary of Fushimi Inari

It is famous for its paths covered by a lot of torii red doors that go to Inari mountain.

Arashima bamboo forest

A path between a lot of caved bamboo. There you can feel relaxed and you can enjoy the beatiful sunrise or sunset.

The Golden Pavilion

It is a reconstruction of an old palace that burned. The most special thing of this place is that it has the wals covered by gold leaf. You can visit it in 7 or 8 hours. It is a World Heritage Site since 1994.

Guion district

A historic neighbourhood know for it beatiful streets where you can feel the tracional Japan.
