Configuring and Assigning Contact Roles

What you should know:

Configure Contact Roles

Contact Roles are used to identify key customer contacts and the specific role they have in the event. These contacts can be people within the customer organization, such as a billing contact or signatory, or people working on behalfof your customer, such as an on-site contact or 3rd party decorator. They are also useful for third-party billing scenarios and provide additional event details in contracts, BEOs, and other event documents.

Note

Contact roles are managed in System Admin and the System Admin role is required to access them. If an existing contact role name is changed in System Admin, it will not automatically update for event contacts to which it is already assigned. You must manually edit the contact and select the new role name.
