"I'm not a huge fan of labubus. I don't really get what the hype over it is. It's just another doll in my opinion. For what they are, I think they're overhyped. They just seem plain to me and I don't really get how people think that they're cute. It's just some kind of monster," said sophomore Anthony Beltran-Godoy.
Fuzzy Friends
Conquering nationwide consumerism, Labubus, a plush toy from Pop Mart under “The Monsters” series, became the mania of the summer

"The lighting on the art is very good and it really draws the eye," said sophomore Vyltte Carpenter.
How The Cookie Crumbls
Can the viral Crumbl Cookies live up to the hype, or will they crumble under the weight of expectations?
By Alex Gonzalez, News and Art Director and Jackson Quealy, Sports Editor
"I appreciate how open the article seemed as they admitted not every cookie was amazing. However, I would’ve liked to see a section based on if the cookie was worth the price; seeing as crumbl cookie prices can be around $5 for one cookie. For example with the Molten Lava cookie, was the $5 price tag and the 660 calories worth it? Another question I have is did either Alex or Jackson change their opinion on any of the cookies after hearing the other taster's opinion? As well as do they prefer a super sweet cookie, if they like chocolate, if they dislike chocolate, or if maybe they just don't like certain flavors. In conclusion this was a very well thought out, honest article," said freshamn Ruby Rodriguez.

“The main problem in this is that people are actively mocking feminine things, things associated with being a woman. So in a way, calling someone performative is indirectly misogynistic. Social media is actively bullying men for having feminine interests and even being a feminist, which isn't right. Feminism is a movement that should be encouraged, especially among men as they are the ones with most privilege in today's society. Instead, we teach everyone that these feminine qualities in men should be shamed and laughed at, which can feed into toxic masculinity and stop progress for gender equality," said freshman Faith Gil.

"I’m excited to be able to swim in it once its done and I can’t wait to watch water polo and all the school sports win trophies. I can’t wait for it to be done. I hope it gets done sooner, because its been a few years," said sophomore Alessandra Ramirez.
FEELING FALL FASHION
Fall is here and Cambria Houdyshell is fall fashion ready
By Raffy Fuentes, Co-Web Director
“I love that Cambria expresses that she loves effortless style, especially during the fall season. It's really cute to see how she mixes and matches different brands together to create her own style that she loves and feels comfortable in. My question for Cambria Houdyshell is, Will her style change for the upcoming winter months?" said freshman Mikayla Truong.
