Always connect your personal fall arrest harness to a properly rated anchor point using a lanyard or lifeline. Ensure the strap is free of twists, securely fastened, and positioned above your work area to minimize fall distance. Double-check that all connectors are fully locked and that the anchor point can support at least 5,000 pounds per worker.

Never connect a lanyard to another lanyard or non-rated point. Doing so can fail during a fall. Always tie off to a properly rated anchor capable of supporting fall arrest loads.
