Quality check customer experts
Leverage the Quality Check (QC) tool to test an expert's honesty during vetting by using a "red herring" company. Mention the QC company alongside real companies when asking an expert about their familiarity with solutions in their field. ⚠️ If an expert claims high familiarity with the QC company, ask follow-up questions to see the extent to which the expert is willing to oversell themselves. If the expert is clearly overselling themselves 👉🏻
💡Since the rollout of the QC tool in 2022, failed checks have proven to be our most reliable data source for predicting bad actors

Look out for signs that could indicate potential use of AI from experts
⚠️ Listen to potential typing in the background as experts could be looking up questions online ⚠️ Long pauses which could indicate the expert is looking something up ⚠️ Long generic responses that seem like an expert is reading from an online source 🚩 If a client flags they believe an expert used AI on a call 👉🏻
- Lock the expert under "Other" with the justification of potential use of AI
- Tell your client you’re looking into it and will revert back. Do not accept responsibility, try to get as much information from your client as to why they thought there was AI used on the call
- Immediately flag this to CP
Pressure test during vetting
- Avoid Yes/No questions and other questions that are easily answered to ensure experts are the right fit.
- Pressure test experts relevant for their customer experience:
- What product / service are you using for X?
- At what company do you have experience using this product?
- How long have you been a customer/ when was the most recent evaluation/RFP (specify year and quarter)?
- What were your selection criteria? Why did you choose x product or service over other options?
- What is the main use case for this product / service?
