Jesus tells parables

Throughout his ministry, Jesus told parables - little stories designed to make a point. He did this, sometimes, to be a little opaque and make his listeners think. He did it, other times, to make a simple point as clear as possible. He did it, every time, to show what living is like through God's paradigm - something he called "the kingdom of God."
