You’ll learn strategies to help you get your best possible TOEIC score. The focus is on using your English effectively during the test — not on learning from zero. You’ll practice how to: • Understand the TOEIC format and timing. • Manage your time efficiently. • Identify the best answers quickly. • Avoid traps and tricky distractors. • Build confidence through mock tests and feedback.

What is the format of the TOEIC test?

Listening & Reading Test (about 2 hours 30 minutes)

Speaking & Writing Test (about 1 hour 20 minutes)

Listening – 45 minutes

  • Part 1: Photographs (6 questions)
  • Part 2: Question–Response (25 questions)
  • Part 3: Conversations (39 questions)
  • Part 4: Talks (30 questions)
Reading – 75 minutes
  • Part 5: Incomplete Sentences (30 questions)
  • Part 6: Text Completion (16 questions)
  • Part 7: Reading Comprehension (54 questions)

Speaking – 20 minutes

  • Read a text aloud (2 tasks)
  • Describe a picture (2 tasks)

Which sections do CCCN students take?

You must take Listening, Reading, and Speaking. A B1 level in those sections is required to graduate.

How is my grade calculated for the course?

You need 80 or higher to pass. Evaluation:

  • Attendance – 35%
  • Oral Assessment 1 – 10%
  • Oral Assessment 2 – 15%
  • Self-Evaluation – 30%
  • Writing 1 – 5%
  • Writing 2 – 5%

Is the TOEIC a pass/fail exam?

No. It measures your level, not if you “pass” or “fail.”

  • Listening & Reading: 10–990 points total
  • Speaking & Writing: 0–200 points each
CCCN requires a B1 level for graduation.

How long are my results valid?

Two years after your test date.

When will I get my results?

Around 10–15 business days after you take the test.

Is the test on computer or paper?

Usually computer-based. Paper-based is available only for special cases.

Can I request accommodations?

Yes, if you have a medical or psychological condition. Submit your request and documents to CCCN before the registration deadline.

Are there breaks during the test?

No. Make sure you eat and use the restroom before the test starts.

How do I register for the TOEIC?

Each month you’ll get an email with test dates. When ready, call 8000-INGLES to schedule your test.
