🎁At the North Pole, Santa nearly clicked a fake “URGENT: Your Sleigh Account Will Be Locked!” email that demanded he reset his password before midnight. Classic Christmas chaos bait! Among UK organisations that suffered a cyber breach, 85% reported phishing as the cause, a reset-link scam could easily be part of that phishing wave.

To stay safe from password reset scams:CHECK THE SENDER – If it’s not from the real service, it’s not real. DON’T CLICK THE LINK – Go directly to the website instead. LOOK FOR PRESSURE TACTICS – “URGENT!” or “ACCOUNT CLOSING!” = big red flag. REPORT SUSPICIOUS EMAILS – Reort phishing in Outlook and let your IT/security team investigate.
