-----, Captain Reyes and his crew felt lost when their ship sank near a deserted island. The captain stayed calm and told them to find water and build a fire to send a signal. -----the island looked peaceful, it was full of dangers—wild animals, heat, and hunger. Still, they followed the captain’s directions with hope. -----, after many hours of work, they finished the fire and waited for help. Nevertheless, no ship came that night, and some sailors started to lose hope. ----- their adventure, at sunrise a ship finally saw the smoke and rescued them. The crew thanked their captain for his courage and leadership.

The Lost Boy in the Island

One day there was a boy called Tom. He was going a trip with his parents in a big boat. But then there was a big storm and the boat with a rock. Tom up alone in a strange island. He was very scared and he know what to do. Tom walk a lot in the beach looking for someone, but there was nobody. The sun was very hot and he no water. He think maybe he never go home again. He make a small house with trees and leaves, and he eat coconuts and fishes, but he don’t like fishes very much. In the night, Tom listen strange noises in the jungle and he can’t sleep . He miss his family and his dog so much. Some days later, he see a plane in the sky and he scream and wave his arms, but the plane don’t see him. He feel very sad. After many days, a boat near the island. Tom run fast to the beach and shout “Help me!”. The people in the boat see him and take him back home. When he see his parents again, he cry and say he never want to go in a boat again.
