Policy Index

Options Link Takes you back to the Claims Options Page. Loss No-Policy Link Used when the search for a policy number does NOT return any search results. The policy may be a new business policy that has not been processed at the Home Office yet. It could also be cancelled, purged off the system, or the claim may have occurred during a lapse of coverage. Policy Inquiry Link Opens a new window to display information similar to Policy Center. Exit Link Exit takes us back to the Exceed Home Page. The Help Link Opens a new window with help information regarding the page you are currently on.

Policy Symbol

This is not a required field.

If you enter the correct Policy Number and an incorrect Policy Symbol, no results will return.

It can be used when searching by name to limit the results to the correct Line of Business.

Claim Type

This dropdown displays claim types available for the policy number entered.

Even though Automobile Glass is displayed. You will NEVER enter this claim type.

Auto Glass Claims should be referred to: 1-800-861-6007.

Search Type

You can search by Policy Number or Name. Searching by Policy Number is more efficient.

Loss Date

Search Type

This is a required field as noted by the red asterisk. If the exact date of loss is unknown, help the Insured pinpoint the date by asking questions such as:Did this happen over the weekend?Was it during the storm last week?

When entering an estimated date of loss, add a note to the Loss Description box (which will be covered later) stating the date of loss is not an exact date.
