En el año 800, Carlomagno, hijo de Pipino recibió la corona imperial en Roma de manos del papa León III. Con la restauración del imperio romano.
Sacro Imperio
En el año 962,se fundó el Sacro Imperio con Otón I, rey de origen sajón restauró, el Imperio Franco que había utilizado Carlomagno.El nuevo Imperio tenía tres herencias:
- La herencia cristiana.
- La herencia germánica.
El Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico, desaparece formalmente en el 1806 año.

- En el año 711 los Musulmanes Invaden la península ibérica e irrumpido en el reino franco.
- En el 732 llegaron a Poitiers, donde fueron detenidos por Carlos Martel, mayordomo de palacio del reino franco y caudillo del ejercido franco.
