As first-year students, you will be tested in many ways as you develop your skills in the magical arts. Click on the icons on each page, as they are an important part of solving the mystery. Hints will not appear until after you have been on the page for a MINIMUM of two minutes; some will be longer to give you time to solve. As you enter the grand hall, you are greeted by the sight of other young witches and wizards, all dressed in robes of varying colors and styles. Some are chatting with each other excitedly, while others are studying their books or practicing spells. The hall is large and imposing, with high ceilings and ornate decorations adorning the walls. In one corner, you can see a group of instructors gathered together, discussing something in hushed tones. Suddenly, you notice a beautiful white owl flying through the room. She is holding a message! Let's see what it says!

You take the note to one of the tables where you can get a little privacy. Your new friends gather around to see what's coming next. Before you open the message, click on the pencil icon in the upper right hand corner. This is the notes page where you will write down the answers to the clues. Take careful notes because you will need these answers to complete your final exam!

You and your new friends take off running through the halls to find Professor Gowdny. He must be the key to finding the next challenge! You stop short when you step into the classroom. There are scrolls, journals, and even a potions bubbling on the table! Professor Gowdny's voice suddenly comes out of nowhere and says, "Your next task is to help organize our classroom, it's a mess! Work together and be quick about it! There are many more tasks to accomplish!"

You walk further into the room and are amazed at the number of potions laying all around the room! They are everywhere! What a mess! The professor asked you to get them sorted so you better get started! You tell your friends the plan and start sorting. It's the only way to know where to go next!

Suddenly, you are transported to an odd-looking store. As you walk through the door, the air around you seems to crackle with magic. You are finally going to get your new wand! You walk up to the door and see a magical sign welcoming you in. You all burst through the door, brimming over with excitement.

Wizardly Wand Shop

You look around in awe at the countless shelves filled with wands of all shapes, sizes, and colors. You can't help but feel excited as you approach the counter, where an old wizard with a long white beard greets you. "Welcome to the Wizardly Wand Shop," the wizard says. "I can see you're in need of a new wand, and in the wizarding world, the wand chooses the wizard, not the other way around. You are forging a bond with a magical object that will be with you for your entire life. Wander through the shop and check out the wands. Which one will choose you?

As you step out of the wizard's shop with your new wand, you realize you aren't in the street where you entered but in a winding maze. You look around, feeling confused and disoriented. The maze is tall and made of chiseled stones that stretch as far as the eye can see. You try to retrace your steps, but every turn you take seems to lead you deeper into the labyrinth. After a while, you begin to feel a sense of unease creeping up on you. You start to wonder if this is a test or challenge put forth by the wizard to test your magical abilities. You reach for your wand, feeling a new sense of comfort at its weight in your hand.

The Mesmerizing Maze

As you continue to wander through the maze, your initial sense of excitement and adventure begins to turn into frustration and exhaustion. The walls all look the same, and you feel like you've been walking in circles for hours.You start to wonder if you'll ever find your way out. As if carried by a gust of wind, a whisper tickles your ear. It sounds familiar, like the voice of the old wizard from the wand shop. How many squares do you see? In this world of shapes, geometry. Each corner, each line, each symmetry, Creating patterns, a tapestry. Some squares are big, some are small, All the stones, standing tall. It's a game of puzzles, a test for all!

You finally emerge from a hidden passage and find yourself standing before a small cottage nestled in the woods. The cottage belongs to Gilderoy, the school's groundskeeper, who tends to the forest's magical creatures. Gilderoy explains that the maze is not just a random collection of paths but a carefully constructed puzzle designed to test the courage and ingenuity of new witches and wizards. You and your friends have succeeded and now have the skills you need to make it back to the castle.

Gilderoy invites you inside his cabin, offering you a warm meal. You sit chatting and finally ask what you need to know. "Do you have a map or something to help us find our way back to the castle?" He tells you one is hidden in the cabin, but you must search for it. You and your friends jump up and quickly search high and low, looking under tables and opening every cabinet. You finally find it, but now you need to find your way!

You step out of Gilderoy's cozy cottage, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. You're excited to return to the magical castle to continue your quest. Your friends by your side, and the map in your hands gives you the confidence to make it to the castle without getting lost. Suddenly, you see some strange creatures creeping out of the forest. They are unlike any you have ever seen before, with long, spindly horns and razor-sharp teeth. Your heart races as the creatures approach, but you and your friends quickly pull out your wands. You know that you must act fast if you want to survive this encounter. With a flick of your wrist and a whispered incantation, you cast a spell that makes the creatures disappear into thin air. Your friends follow suit, and soon the forest is silent once more.

You and your friends emerge from the enchanted forest, panting and exhilarated from your journey. As you bound through the castle doors, you're met with the sight of the sorcerer's study. The room is cluttered with ancient tomes, mystical artifacts, and strange devices that you can't even begin to understand. You and your friends exchange glances, unsure of what to do next. Suddenly, your eyes fall upon a small puzzle on the table. It's an intricate maze of twisting paths and convoluted tunnels, and you realize it could be the key to your next challenge.

The Sorcerer's Study

With a sense of urgency, you and your friends gather around the puzzle and begin to work together to solve it. You each take turns manipulating the pieces, trying to find the correct path to the solution. As the minutes tick by, the puzzle becomes more and more complex, and your frustration begins to mount. But just when you're about to give up, you hear a soft click, and the puzzle pieces slide into place. A strange message pops up. You wonder what it could mean. Maybe it has something to do with your next challenge.

Suddenly, you find yourself standing in front of a large mirror. It seems to be calling to you, drawing you closer. Before you know it, you step right through the mirror and into a dark, mysterious hall of mirrors. The mirrors seem to stretch on forever, reflecting images over and over again. At first, you are disoriented and frightened. You have no idea where you are or how you got here. But then, as your eyes adjust to the dim light, you begin to see the beauty in the hall of mirrors. Each mirror seems to reflect a different version of yourself, with slightly different features and expressions. It was like looking at yourself through a thousand different lenses.

You walk into another mirror and see seven owls carrying colored feathers and a broken mirror. You decide to put the pieces back together and see if you can figure out what the owls are doing here. As you reassemble the pieces, you notice things seem a little backward. As you work, you ask your friends for their aid, because you know there are decisions to be made.

You see a crystal ball sitting on a pedestal in the center of the room. You know you must solve a puzzle to continue on your way to the final test, but you have no idea what the puzzle might be. You walk up to the crystal ball, which starts to glow with a faint blue light. Suddenly, the room around you fades away, and you find yourself standing in a large, empty chamber. You wonder what is going on and what your next challenge may be.

The Looking Glass

You notice a series of floating symbols just as you think there is nothing to see. You must decipher the symbols to solve the puzzle and complete this challenge. You close your eyes and take a deep breath, focusing all your energy and attention on the symbols. Slowly but surely, you begin to piece together the puzzle. You must arrange them in some order to unlock the crystal ball's secrets. You concentrate hard, moving the symbols around in your mind until you finally find the correct sequence. Suddenly, the crystal ball glows brighter, and the room around you shifts again.

You are suddenly sitting in a dimly lit exam room and you can feel your heart pounding in your chest. You've completed countless challenges and faced dangerous creatures, but you are now ready for the final exam. Passing it will determine whether you can join the ranks of the world's most powerful witches and wizards. You take a deep breath and look at the parchment before you. It's covered in a strange, ancient language, and you know that somewhere within those scribbles lies the key to passing the exam. Frustration builds inside you, but you know you can't give up. You've come too far to fail now. You close your eyes and take a deep breath, trying to clear your mind of all distractions. Suddenly, a thought occurs to you. You remember something your mentor told you long ago: "The greatest magic comes not from your wand but from within yourself." You close your eyes and let your mind connect with the symbols. As you do, you feel a surge of energy flowing through you. The symbols on the parchment begin to glow, rearranging themselves into a new message. You open your eyes and read the message out loud. The room begins to shake as you do, and a blinding light fills the air.

As the bright light fades away, you find yourself standing in a magnificent hall. The walls are adorned with intricate carvings and shimmering crystals, and at the far end of the room sits a magnificent throne, carved from solid gold. And on that throne sits the Grand Wizard himself, resplendent in his long robes and pointed hat. "Welcome, my child," he says, his voice echoing through the hall. "You have done well to make it this far. Now, I am here to bestow upon you your master diploma." With a wave of his hand, the Grand Wizard conjures a scroll that floats gracefully towards you. As you take it, you notice that it is sealed with the crest of your university, and you feel a surge of pride and accomplishment. "You have proven yourself to be a worthy scholar," says the Grand Wizard. "But remember, the journey of learning never truly ends. There will always be more to discover, more to learn, more to create. May this diploma serve as a reminder of what you have achieved, but also as a beacon for what you have yet to accomplish." You look down at the diploma in your hand and feel a sense of awe and gratitude wash over you. As you gather your things and leave the room, you realize that you have truly achieved something great. You have proven your knowledge and expertise to the world, and you are ready to take on whatever challenges come your way.
