What is Inventory?
In Elite, inventory is the goods and services offered to a client to support the event and added to an event, usually for a charge. This might include things like:
Equipment
Labor
Services
Facility fees, marketing fees, box office fees, cleaning fees
Chairs, tables, stages, mics, music stands, pianos
Ushers, security, stagehands, housekeeping
*Note: inventory does not include room rentals.

The Purpose of Inventory in Elite
Inventory is used to:
- Generate event and/or banquet event orders.
- Invoice clients for event expenses.
- Communicate event needs and expectations to both clients and internal teams.
- Report on item revenue and utilization to determine which items have the highest and lowest ROI.

Required Permissions
Select Roles for your navigation menu. Click on the role and Edit to open the Edit slider. Set Inventory & Prices and Inventory & Setup to Edit.

Accessing Inventory and Prices
With your permissions set, access Inventory & Prices by clicking your name in the top left corner and selecting Inventory & Prices.
Best Practice
If you are a new Elite customer and unsure about all your inventory items, we recommend creating a comprehensive list of items before building your inventory in the software. Taking this step now will save you time and prevent errors.
