Can I choose effective vocabulary and Writer's Knowledge to plan my Twisted Narrative?

How Twisted Narratives Work

A twisted narrative is a story that takes a well-known traditional tale and changes it in a surprising or different way.

Beginning: The good character meets the evil villain. This part sets up the story. We meet the characters and think everything might be okay.

Middle:The villain does something mean. This is the part where the tension (the excitement and danger) builds.

Ending:The good character comes to a sad or surprising end. That’s the twist - the story doesn’t end the way we expect.

Let me show you how to plan.

Teacher's Plan: The Fox and The Gingerbread Man
Example Text: The Queen and The Apple
Your Plan: A Twisted Narrative
