go come have catch wake up didn't get up eat drink put take find say
go - went come - came have / has - had catch - caught wake up - woke up get up - got up eat - ate drink - drank put - put take - took find - found say - said
Se les añade una terminación en AFIRMATIVA.
En la forma AFIRMATIVA se añade al final del verbo las siguientes terminaciones:-ed: want wanted -d: use used y --> i + ed: study studied
y + ed: play played
En la forma NEGATIVA se añade DIDN'T (DID NOT) y el verbo se escribe en INFINITIVO (de manera normal). didn't want didn't use didn't say
VERBS ENDIND IN -Y
En los verbos terminados en -y, el PASADO SIMPLE de los VERBOS REGULARES se forma de las dos siguentes maneras:
Si antes de la -y tenemos una consonante: y --> i + ed: study studied cry cried try tried
Si antes de la -y tenemos una vocal: + ed: play played enjoy enjoyed stay stayed
VERBS ENDIND IN CVC
Los verbos que terminan en CONSONANTE - VOCAL - CONSOTANTE, LA ÚTIMA CONSONANTE (EXCEPTO Y - W) SE REPITE, SE DUPLICA.
