Today is an imagery day:)
After the hardest two years of my life, separated by distance, yearning for touch and resolution. I waited by the airport doors, nervously fiddling with my hands, heart pounding harder with every passing minute, waiting to see my soulmate walk through that airport gate. Then you appeared, suitcase rolling, eyes searching. The moment you saw me and our eyes met, my heart stopped; my thoughts finally fell silent. You broke into that smile I've yearned to see and missed more than anything. You ran. I caught you. In that first hug, the whole world went quiet. Nothing in this world mattered except you and me. Two years of distance disappeared in a single heartbeat. You were finally home, and so was I.
