Intelligence

The ability to acquire knowledge and use it for problem solving and adapting it to the real world.

The main current belief is that intelligence is multi-faceted. With a main ability on the top level, a few others on the second, and followed by many other types.

Logical - Mathematical

- Ability to reason, solve problems, and discern patterns using logic and numbers

Linguistic

- Ability to use and understand written and spoken word to express oneself and persuade others

Musical

- Ability to hear, create, and appreciate music. - Sensitivity to rhythm, pitch, and timbre.

spatial

- Ability to think in 3 - dimensions - Mental rotation, visualizing objects, and perceiving the relationship between objects and space

Bodily - Kinesthetic

- Ability to use one's body to solve problems and express ideas. - Coordination, dexterity, and ability to handle objects.

Interpersonal

- Ability to interact with others; understand their moods, motivations, and feelings

- Ability to recognize, categorize, and understand elements of the outside world.

The idea that a signal mental ability (referred to as "g" factor) is responsible for all matters related to intelligence, as judged by mental testing
