He was born on December 30, 1865, in Bombay, British India..
At the age of five, Rudyard and his younger sister, Trix, were sent to the United Kingdom to begin their formal education while their parents remained in India..
Rudyard returned to India at sixteen, where he began working for various local newspapers.
Rudyard moved to London because he wanted to learn more about books and become a better writer.
As I live a part of my life in india...
Rudyard Kipling was born in India and spent the first years of his life there. He saw many animals, heard many stories, and learned about Indian nature and culture. Later, when he lived in England, he remembered India very clearly. These memories helped him write The Jungle Book, making the jungle, the animals, and the adventures feel very real and exciting.
