Objective
Students will use logic, teamwork, and critical thinking to solve riddles and challenges in order to protect the medieval Kingdom of Eldovar from invasion. They will practice reasoning, sequencing, and problem-solving while exploring life and values in the Middle Ages.
The Kingdom of Eldovar is under siege!
Long ago, beyond mist-covered mountains and silver rivers, stood the Kingdom of Eldovar — a realm built upon wisdom, courage, and truth. Its name came from the ancient tongue: Eld, meaning “fire” or “old,” and Var, meaning “stronghold.” Together, Eldovar meant “The Ancient Stronghold of Light.” The people of Eldovar prized knowledge as much as valor. Monks filled the great libraries with handwritten scrolls, knights swore oaths not only to defend the land but to uphold honor and virtue, and farmers sang hymns of gratitude as they tilled the fertile fields. For centuries, Eldovar’s peace endured — until a time of great trial. The kingdom’s gates were sealed by five ancient locks, each bound to one of the virtues that once made Eldovar strong: Wisdom, Honor, Knowledge, Truth, and Faith. Only those pure of heart and sharp of mind could break these seals and restore balance to the realm. Now, the fate of Eldovar rests with you. To save the kingdom, you must enter its chambers, solve the riddles of its past, and prove that the light of virtue still burns bright within the hearts of those who seek truth.

Only those who discern truth from error may unlock the gate and continue their mission to save Eldoria. Each correct answer moves you closer to freedom—each mistake keeps the dungeon doors tightly barred.
