Smashball

1-What is smashball?

2-Rules of the game:

-The ball can bounce once on the ground before a player hits it. -Players can use any part of the body to keep the ball in play. -The objective is to make the ball bounce inside the opponent's area.

Smashball is a modified version of volleyball created to make the sport easier and more fun for beginners. It focuses on learning basics volleyball skills through small games and exercises.The main goal is to hit the ball and keep it in play with cooperation and fun.

-Smashball is usually played in teams of 3 to 6 players.

3-Games' materials

-Volleyball or soft training ball -A net ( lower than a normal volleyball net) -court or gym space -cones to mark the playing area(optional)

Levels of the game (Smashball) 1.-Level 1: It is the first step . the rules are very simple ,and players can catch or let the ball bounce.The goal is to learn control and coo peration . 2-Level 2: Medium , the game becomes faster . Players must hit or throw the ball quickly, with fewer helps like bouncing .They start to use real volleyball movements . 3-Level3: Hard, it is the final steps.The game is played almost like real volleyball -no catching or bouncing . Players must use all the skills they learned before.

4-What is Almeriball?

5-Rules:

-The ball can be caught for a short time before passing. -Teams try to send the ball over the nest without letting it fall. -The ball must always go up wards when passed ( no downward passes). -Usually played in teams of 3-6 players.

Almeriball is another volleyball adaptation created to promote teamwork and inclusion .It comes from Almería ( Spain)and is used in schools to practice coordination ,communication ,and fair play.

6-Games' materials.

-Soft volleyball or foam ball -Volleyball net or string as a net -Court or open space -Cones to define the limits of the games( optional)

Level of the game ( Almeriball)

1Level 1:It's the easiest level. It helps players learn control and teamwork. 2Level2:Only basic volleyball hits. Max 3 touches. No catching. 3Level3: Official hits only. Net faults apply. Light spikes allowed 4Level4: Are official volleyball rules: Spikes,blocks,rotation,scoring.
