In fencing you will need a specific equipment to play:

  1. Foil: It´s the main sword for fencing, is large and it has a fencing bowl to protect your hand
  2. Mask: It helps to protect your head when you get hitted by the foil.
  3. Fencing glove: It's a glove to not get any wound in your hand.

FENCING COURT

Fencing has many rules, they were established to make the old fencing a new sport:

  1. At the begining of the game you have to conect your intern and then greet your oponent.
  2. After greeting your oponent, you´ll have to go to the guard line in your side of the court.
  3. When you are at the guard line, you will have to wait untill the referee says that you can move.
  4. If you cross any edge from the coart, your oponent gets a point on the scoreboard.
  5. There are 3 types of cards that the referee can give you if you make a foul:
a.Yellow card; It´s a small warning that the referee can give to the fencer if they make a foul. 2 yellow cards make a red card. b.Red card; It´s a big warning to the fencer and also it can remove a point from the scoreboard to the fencer,2 Red cards make a black card. c.Black card; It´s the biggest warning, it can make the fencer leave the competition. 6. After the matches end, you will have to shake hands with the oponent. 7. After shaking hands you will have to disconect the cable and go to the next court.
