TURN OFF HALLOWEEN-MODE

HALLOWEEN, 2025

VTVLC WEEKLY UPDATE

Thank you for completing the required trainings! We appreciate the time & attention it took to complete this task!

Faculty Meeting

The next faculty meeting will be Wednesday, November 12th, at 3:15 pm. Join Jess Leo, Jennifer Hindes, and Melissa Sargent-Minor for a sneak peek at our Online Learning Consortium Presentation, "From Compliance to Empowerment."

Technology Department

Did you know? Within Modules, you can view the progress of your students and see how they are progressing through the course. Module progress is determined by the students completing required elements in the module. If you don't set up any requirements, you won't be able to track your students' progress within each module. You can see what your students see! You can view your course as a student to make sure navigation, images, text, icons, etc. are accurately displayed in your course. Friendly reminder! If you have a VTVLC.org email, please use this to communicate with your students. If you don’t have a VTVLC.org email and would like one, please reach out to Hannah (hfarnum@vtvlc.org).

Student Support

Please join us in welcoming Beth Fraser! Beth will be working with our full-time students. Once she’s assigned to her students, she’ll use the flag shown to the right to identify the students she’s supporting. Gentle Reminder: As we reach the halfway point of the semester, consider your student enrollments, office hours, and availability for student Welcome Calls and DBAs. SAS has received recent feedback about teacher availability. This is a general reminder for everyone to check their availability balance.
