Aloha Trail IntroWith Elle Aloha mai kākou. ʻO Elle Ayant a me [‘ānd?] Aokumlani Ayat koʻu inoa, no Waimea mai au. My classmates and I from Kamehameha school Hawaii campus, have the fortunate opportunity to share our ‘ike on a few of the Hawaiian artifacts in the Pitt Rivers Museum. This 7 stop trail will take you through some of the collections on display in the Pitt Rivers Museum that inspired the Hawaiian quilts in Ma uka to Ma kai special exhibition. Each object tells a story about the lives of the people who made and used them, as well as their relationship with the ocean, the ainua [land], and each other.
