1. Planificar (Purpose)
o Nesta fase, o estudante define o que pretende fazer, por que motivo e
para quem. Por exemplo: “Vou produzir um relatório sobre X para o
público Y até à data Z”.
o Inclui ainda reflexão sobre o que já sei sobre o tema, o que preciso de
descobrir — brainstorming, mapa mental, definição de perguntas de
investigação.
o Também implica planificar o formato final, os prazos, a organização do
tempo, etc.

2. Localizar (Location)
o Aqui o foco é onde e como encontrar a melhor informação. Que fontes
existe (bibliotecas, internet, entrevistas, bases de dados)? Que tipo de
informação preciso (factos, opiniões, mapas, entrevistas)?
o Verificar a adequação das fontes: são confiáveis, atualizadas, têm autor
identificável, respondem às minhas perguntas?
o Escolha de palavras-chave, estratégias de pesquisa e catalogação das
fontes.

3.USAR o Depois de encontrar a informação, há que usá-la com eficácia: ler, extrair,
registar, organizar para o trabalho final.
o Escolher métodos de registo (notas, grelhas, esquemas), sintetizar, não
simplesmente copiar, mas transformar e organizar a informação para
comunicar.
o Preparar a produção final (relatório, apresentação, infográfico, vídeo,
etc) e pensar sobre o público-alvo.

4. Saber avaliar (Self-evaluation)
o Após ou durante o processo, o estudante reflete sobre o seu trabalho:
respondi a todas as perguntas iniciais? As fontes foram suficientes? O
produto final está organizado? Que competências desenvolvi? Que faria
diferente?
o Este momento de avaliação pessoal ajuda a fomentar maior autonomia,
pensamento crítico e melhoria contínua.
