An imperative is a sentence that tells someone what to do or what not to do. (Un imperativo es una oración que le dice a alguien qué hacer o qué no hacer.).

Affirmative (positive / afirmativo)
Use the verb at the beginning. (Usamos el verbo al inicio.) Examples / Ejemplos: Open the window. (Abre la ventana.) Wash your hands. (Lávate las manos.) Eat healthy food. (Come comida saludable.)
Negative (don’t / negativo)
Use Don’t + verb to say “No”.(Usamos Don’t + verbo para decir “No”.) Examples / Ejemplos: Don’t shout. (No grites.) Don’t eat junk food. (No comas comida chatarra.) Don’t be late. (No llegues tarde.)
