6. Book Clubs

Many bookstores also run book clubs. Book clubs effectively bring people together and connect the community. People share thoughts, recommend books to each other and make friends. Sometimes, people just meet, sit and quietly read!

Or something else you want to drink! Some bookstores serve beverages for customers to enjoy while reading books. Coffee, juice or even cocktail - people can choose different kinds of drinks they prefer just like picking any genre of books they love. The atmosphere is also chill for customers to chat with others and build connections.

Many bookstores care and support the rights of minority groups. They serve as a resource for people who are looking for places that understand and encourage them, and also for their family members who may be curious about what their loved ones are going through.

What a good chance to talk with authors face to face and ask them to sign your books! Authors may reach out to bookstores by themselves, or bookstores will contact authors as well. The trust and support are mutual.
