Fun Fact

A beloved Baylor tradition is the Dr Pepper Hour. This tradition started out in 1952, when the then assistant dean, Mrs. Marie Mathis served coffee to students every week. Soon, she began to serve hot chocolate, then Coca-Cola, and then Dr Pepper. This led to Dr Pepper being the university soft drink, and the tradition became a staple of Baylor culture and tradition.
