Did you spell all the words correctly? Are the sentences in the correct order? Will our readers understand us? Let's try some editing practice.

Editing Activity
All good writers check their writing for mistakes. Until you get the hang of editing, an editing checklist helps you hunt for one type of mistake at a time. It should include:
- Capitals
- Punctuation
- Spelling
- Verb tense
- Subject-verb agreement
- Sentence fragments
Check your writing for each item, correct the mistakes, and cross it off your list.
