What is an external bleeding?
External bleeding is blood loss from the circulatory system that is visible on the outside of the body through a wound, cut, or broken skin.
Symphtoms
Sings
Blood coming from a wound, but also other signs of blood loss, such as dizziness,weaknes , paleness, cold and clammy skin,weak pulse, and rapid and shallow breathing And if the wound is more serious can lead to state of shock
Blood emerging from a wound, dizziness, paleness, cold and clammy skin, and if the wound is more serious a lot of blood will come out of the wound
Visibility of blood oozing from a wound, along with other symptoms of shock such as pale, cold, rapid and weak pulse, and rapid and shallow breathing
Which steps do we have to follow?
Direct compression should be applied by placing gauze directly on the wound and applying firm pressure. Direct pressure can be replaced with a bandage once the wound has stopped bleeding and the surface is clean.
An Abrasion: how to act?
Treatment: Wash your hands to avoid infections. Stop the bleeding the cuts will stop bleeding by themselfs Wash the wound with water Put yourself an antibiotic medication or Vaseline Cover the wound Change the bandajes
