Michelangelo Buonarroti was born in Italy in 1475. He was one of the most famous artists of the Renaissance. From a young age, he showed great talent for art. He worked in several cities, including Florence and Rome, and became very famous for his skill and creativity.Michelangelo was known for being very dedicated to his work. He spent many hours perfecting his art and often preferred to work alone. Although he was famous, he was a private person and focused mainly on his projects. Later in life, he also wrote many poems about his feelings, art, and life. Michelangelo died in Rome in 1564.

One of his world-famous sculptures was "Il David di Michelangelo". It is a marble statue over 4 meters tall and depicts the young hero David facing the giant Goliath with a slingshot. Michelangelo sculpted this statue between 1501 and 1504, and today it is located in Florence, in the Accademia Gallery.What makes David so special is its realism. Michelangelo managed to capture every detail of the human body, from the tense muscles to the veins on the hands. This sculpture was created when Michelangelo was still young, demonstrating his extraordinary talent for sculpture.
