DRA: Differential Reinforcement of Alternating behaviors

Let's go!

DRA is differential reinforcement of alternative behaviors which is overall a use of wanting to eliminate bahviors that are not wanted to be in effective anymore(Petscher et al., 2009). It is the most common type of differential reinforcement in order to help with problem behaviors. Often used in those that have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in behaviors that are happening over and over again and are not correct (Garcia et al., 2019). DRA is a strong reinforcement technique that uses extinction to get the wanted behavior.
