Through Rocket Days and PLC, we have been able to develop systems to close the coaching loop

  • A specific focus related to teacher clarity is identified
  • In PLC, teams digs deeper into the focus, develop plans, identify opportunities for modeling
  • On Rocket Days, coaches model and teachers observe
  • Admin & coaches observe teachers and provide feedback aligned to focus area
  • In PLC, teams analyze student data, teacher reflection of observation, and learning walk data to set new goal
  • This process is replicated at a deeper level through coaching cycles with strategically-selected teachers
