The First Decade
MTech Systems was founded in 1987 to solve a key challenge in the poultry industry — producers were drowning in paper and spreadsheets, unable to make efficient decisions. Seeing the opportunity, Marcel Cohen, Mike Walker, and Simon Cohen created the first version of our enterprise solution — and MTech was born.
Second Decade: From 2000 to 2010
MTech Systems expanded its operations by starting in Turkey, Layer, Duck and Swine Operations. The employee head count reached its 100 mark, and our customer base expanded across all continents.
Innovation Without Borders
Today, MTech has nearly 300 employees worldwide. Our cloud-based solutions connect customers across the globe, helping them work smarter from any device, anywhere. We continue to launch new products, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive our purpose forward.
Third Decade: From 2010 to 2020
MTech Systems expanded offices in Mexico and Brazil. Our employee headcount reached the 200 mark and an important milestone occurred, MTech Systems was acquired by Munters in 2017. Munters is a global leader in climate control solutions for mission-critical processes and combining Munters' climate control systems on farms and in factories with MTech's planning and optimization software will bring a new level of intelligence and increase the ability to connect all parts of the supply-chain for poultry and swine production.
The Beginning
MTech Systems was founded in 1987 by identifying a problem in the Poultry Industry. Poultry Producers had too much information in paper and excel files and they struggled to organize it centralize it and eventually make efficient decisions. Without any solutions available, Marcel Cohen partnered up with the other founders Mike Walker and Simon Cohen and created the very first version of our enterprise solution.

MTech’s goal is to remain the leading software provider for the poultry and swine industry worldwide. We’re committed to innovation, partnership, and global growth, expanding into new markets and creating intelligent solutions that shape the future of food production.
