Winter Sports: For a sport such as hockey shoulder pads may need more space to accomodate for all other clothing that must be worn. Spring Sports: Just as in the fall, shoulder pads should accomdate for throwing motion in baseball and lacross as well as should be checked more than once to ensure the fit is still the same with the change in weather.

Differences in Seasons: Fall sports: make sure that you keep a daily check on the athletes helemt as sweat and humidity could change the snugness of the helmet. Winter Sports: the fit can be a little loser to allow space for thermal caps but still ensure that it remains tight to avoid concussions Spring sports: for sports such as baseball and softball the use of lighther helmets is recommended so that their is room for ventilation.
