Summer Jamboree is a very special festival situated in Italy ,in Senigallia. Is the most famouse vintage music festival in Europe and also in the world. It is also celebrated the styl and culture of the 1940s and 1950s. Every summer thousends people come from all aroud the world to dance and visit the festival.
Where and when?
The festival take plce in Senigallia, in Italy, and usually during 1 week\ 10 days. Is beteween the end of july and the beginning of august. The festival start in the year 2000 with only one day of concert and local bands. Now it is a very big event, with more than 40 concert, thousands of visitors and many dancers from many coutries. You can see a happy atmosphere in the night anche during the day.
Why it is important
Thise festival, help tu preserve the music and the lifestyle of the 1940s\1950s, a period that changed the world of music, fashon and dance.
Risks and problem
-is difficult to move in the city, there is more traffic and there aren't car parking - thise big event produce noise and pollution, because Senigallioa is on the sea is important to protect the beach -the prices of hotes or tikets become very high, and some people will not able to partecipate.
How to protect and impove it
1- visitors should use public transport, bicycles and respect the environment 2- respect the original vintage style 3- restaurant can prepare special menus, shops can sell local products and schools can organize the projects about 1950 4- make the festival inclusive, with free concerts, low-cost activities
