Story telling

One of the most interesting tradition of Helloween is watching horror films and/or telling spooky and scary stories.In order to be able to tell your own Helloween story you need to revise and/or learn some grammar and vocabulary first. Before telling a story you need to be able to distinguish between past tenses uses and forms first. Please, study these two images and then do the quiz and the exercises that links at the next page are taking you to.

I am a monster that has been on a diet. There is no fat on me! Or muscle either! You might say that I am all skin and bones-without the skin. I rattle when I walk ... and my teeth chatter when I talk... Who am I?

I come from far, far away. Most people think I'm green and hideous. But really I'm not so bad. I am just looking for a few Earthlings to put in my zoo back on my home planet. Who am I?

Welcome! Have a seat! Dinner will be served shortly. sorry we don't have any garlic bread. I can't stand it! What am I drinking you ask? Don't worry! It's....um.... GRAPE JUICE! You have such an interesting neck line... May I? Who am I?

I walk through the walls as I please. Sometimes you can see me and sometimes you can't. I moan and groan. I rattle chains. You can find me in old houses, graveyards and castles. Who am I?

I live under bridges and in caves. I eat travellers that pass my way. I am big, fat and ugly. I carry a club. Think of a word that rhymes with ''roll''. Who am I?
