FAST FACTS
I don't have a classroom of my own... yet!
My typical day keeps me out and about!
- I've jumped out of a plane with less than 12 hours notice. - I am newly a kitten mom to the sweetest Shelby there ever was! - I read the entire Twilight saga in thirteen days. - I love to sing and dance. - My best friend and I have lived 3,000 miles apart since 7th grade. - I'm a chronic stress dreamer.
I recently started working as a barista, which has been quite messy but fun! Outside of my work and schooling, I like to relax by sitting on my patio, going on long walks or drives, cooking, attending church, and hanging out with my loved ones. I like to go to bed on the earlier side, but I'm still working on my morning person persona..
I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education this past May, am currently pursuing my Master's of Advanced Teacher Education in Middle Grades Math, and work as a Research Assistant. My plan is to begin teaching this upcoming school year and I could not be any more excited!

My Experience
I've had the opportunity to work across all K-6 grade levels and subject areas through various classroom roles and experiences! However, I have not yet stepped into any type of leadership or coaching position associated with mathematics. During my intermediate placement in student teaching, I had the opportunity to teach 4th grade math, which combined my favorite teaching subject and grade level! Prior to that, I had crafted and conducted a math unit for my primary placement solo week. My experience certainly falls on the limited side in that regard, but math instruction has quickly become a passion of mine and I can't wait to see how that will direct my career as a teacher!
