Paragraph 1- Introduction

To include:
  • Hook (interesting fact, story, questions, etc.)
  • Bridge (you may need a sentence to bridge your ideas together)
  • Claim
    • Yes, people are better together because (reason 1) and (reason 2).No, people are not better together because (reason 1) and (reason 2).

Paragraph 1- To Essay!

Copy your hook and claim and put them into another word document. They should be complete sentences! If they are not, make them complete sentences. You MAY need a BRIDGE to make it make sense.

For this paragraph, you will be introducing your first reason.After you list your reason, you will be using your evidence and explanation of evidence to explain how it relates to your claim!

I have modified this writing assignment so you will ONLY complete your outline! This lesson walks you through how to complete it! If you have any questions at all, let me know! You will have the next TWO class periods to work on this so you don't have to finish the entire lesson today!
