Plot Summary

Sir John Falstaff tries to make two married women — Mistress Ford and Mistress Page — to steal their husbands’ money. The wives discover his plan and decide to play tricks on him. Mr. Page, act3, scene 2

well, i will not be the man that shall be angry

i wont get angry or lose my temper

Mr.Page says this to show he's calm and patient, the opposite of jealous Mr.Ford he represents trust and reason

they are honest and clever

mrs Ford,act3,scene 3

if he should intend this voyage towards my wife , i would turn her loose to him

(talking about Falstaff) if he tries to chase my wife , i'd let him try so he learns his lesson
